Welcome to Sing Joyfully, where we are dedicated to inspiring worship through music! At First Christian Church of Stow, we believe that music has the power to uplift, unite, and deepen our spiritual journey. Our site serves as a hub for our choral and handbell music ministries, providing resources, support, and inspiration for all who share our passion for worship through music.

Our Mission

At Sing Joyfully, our mission is to enhance the worship experience within our community through the beauty and message of music. We work to create an environment where individuals of all ages and skill levels can come together to learn, grow, and express their faith through song. Whether you are a seasoned musician or a curious newcomer, there is a place for you in our music ministries.

Our Music Ministries

Choral Program

Our choral program offers a variety of opportunities for singers to participate in meaningful worship through vocal music. We focus on working in harmony with one another, fostering a sense of community among our choir members. Our choral performances range from classical to gospel to contemporary worship, ensuring that everyone can find their voice in our musical offerings.

  • Choir Objectives:
    • Praise, worship, and reach out to God.
    • Share the Good News of Jesus with others through music.
    • Learn new things and grow together, as the Body of Christ.
    • Get healthier.

Handbell Choirs

The handbell choirs at First Christian Church of Stow bring a unique and joyful sound to our worship services. We welcome anyone with an interest in handbell ringing, regardless of previous experience. Our dedicated directors guide members through the fundamentals of ringing and help them develop their skills to create beautiful music together.

Instrumental Groups

If you play an instrument, there are many opportunities to participate in music ministry, including–but not limited to–our Resurrection Brass ensemble and our worship band, The Way.

Community and Fellowship

At the heart of Sing Joyfully is a strong sense of community. We believe that music is a powerful tool for building relationships and creating lasting friendships within a faith community. Our rehearsals, performances, and social events provide opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and support among musicians of all backgrounds.
